All the donations are sorted; all the bags are packed; all the meetings are over. We are leaving today! Our trip includes a flight to New York, an overnight flight to Kiev, and then a two-and-a-half hour bus ride to Nizhen. Please be in prayer for us as we travel, that God would provide traveling mercies, health and safety, ease of flight transfers in New York, much needed rest on the overnight flight, arrival of all of our baggage, ease of passage through customs, and safety on the bus ride from Kiev to Nizhen. We should arrive in Kiev at approximately 9 am Kiev time (2 am Miami time).
When we arrive in Nizhen, we will be joining up with the rest of our team (from the Ukrainian church). Please be in prayer that God would be at the center of our new friendships and create unity in our team. We will be involved in camp preparation and counselor training on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please pray that God would allow us to use this time wisely to prepare ourselves for the work that He has set before us with these children. Thank you for supporting us with your prayers!
